Builder Orientation workshop

Updated: Mar 30, 2020

Our first builder-only workshop of the NZTAP was designed to get builder participants thinking about net zero technologies.

The full day workshop was kicked off by Andy Oding (Building Knowledge), who presented on net zero home design and technologies. Builders learned how to achieve a net zero energy home in Canada.

During the second half of the day, builders discussed barriers to innovative technology adoption. Builders also discussed how they usually choose technologies to incorporate into the homes they build, and any challenges they had faced. The workshop was facilitated by Michael Lio (buildABILITY Corporation).
